Wando Pointe is a gated waterfront community of 41 homesites just off the Wando River in the Cainhoy area, located in southeastern Berkeley County. Conveniently close to Daniel Island, Mount Pleasant, Shipyard Park, Philip Simmons public schools, shopping centers, golf courses, marinas, and premier fishing.  If you are new to the Charleston area, we believe you will find that the Low Country offers a wide variety of entertainment and exciting adventures.

Our private community consists of detached single family homes and operates under certain Covenants and Restrictions intended to maintain a high quality of life for residents and property value.  Every home in Wando Pointe is a part of the Wando Pointe Homeowners Association.   Its Board of Directors is comprised of elected, dedicated members who protect your interests as property owners and keep you aware of changes happening in the area and how they will affect the community.  This includes the maintenance and landscaping of the common areas and enforcing the Covenants and Restrictions fairly and equally.

This web site contains a series of informational documents such as an outline of the basic elements of the Associations’ Covenants and Restrictions and the Architectural Review Board Standard Request Form (which is used in order to satisfy requirements of property owners in maintaining their homes and surroundings at a certain standard intended to enhance the appearance of the community and retain/increase the value of your home).

The Wando Pointe Marina is a separate organization and regulates the ordinances pertaining to the pier and boat slips.  It has its own Board of Directors and a separate operating budget supported by annual dues.

Our Board of Directors is delighted that you have chosen Wando Pointe as your home and we want to make your life here as enjoyable as we can.

The Board is here to serve you and create an environment of harmony and cooperation.

After you have reviewed this web site, please contact our board with any questions you may have regarding Wando Pointe. We have several committees that work on community projects and plans.  We hope you will join a committee of particular interest to you and your family.   We need every resident to feel they are part of the process in creating a dynamic and vital community.

With warm regards,

Wando Pointe Board of Directors
